This aspect of the GCWT mission is currently under development. Once the service becomes available, community organizations, which do not have their 501(c)3 status with the IRS or are not yet incorporated, will be able to apply for and administer various grants and other social service contracts through GCWT.
Making use of a memo of understanding (MOU), GCWT will provide grant writing, accounting, and other administrative services that will enable small, community-based organizations to receive funding for their mission even though they may not have the organizational infrastructure or staffing required by some grant issuing organizations.
Establishing a fiscal agent MOU with GCWT would facilitate the community-based organization receiving the funding needed to move forward in accomplishing their mission.
If you are interested in this service and would like an update on GCWT's progress in making it available, or would just like to know more about the role and function of a fiscal agent, please call (530)934-3412.
